It is the mission of the San Diego Furniture Bank / Hope Thrift to accept donations, sell them, providing significant financial support for the Elizabeth Hospice Foundation and the Western Eagle Foundation by becoming a self-sustaining business/ministry as we daily meet the needs of the working poor with low cost food, clothing and furniture.
It is the vision of the Hope Thrift Store to grow and mature as it shares the good news of Jesus Christ through authentic relational ministry to the working poor by partnering with churches and other organizations who share the vision of dispensing God’s grace and mercy to those who are hurting, lost and alone.
Both of the foundations that Hope Thrift is raising funds for have shown a long history of loving and caring for those in need of food and end-of-life services. Our hearts go out to these organizations as we lift up the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to meet the needs of their clients.
