Volunteer
Hope Thrift Store relies on volunteers to help us serve 100′s of families each week. There is always something to be done here and we can use your help any day of the week from 10-4. Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Help redistribute donated items to other local non-profits
- Sort incoming clothes, shoes, linens and prepare them for families
- Pack/Unpack small household items for families
- Test small electrical items to determine proper functioning
- Clean upholstery of sofas and armchairs
- Answer the telephone
- Organize and tidy the Warehouse shelves
- Pass out information about the Warehouse to local businesses
- Host a donation drive or a collect kitchen items (great for civic or youth groups in need of a project)
- Assist in the Store
